Serving as VP and Distinguished Analyst at Gartner Research during his 15 years at the firm, Mr. Sinur established himself as a leading authority on the BPM and Process Intelligence markets. As Global 360’s Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Sinur drives the company’s vision of ensuring customer success through the development of industry-leading process technologies, the acquisition of strategic targets, and is responsible for the advancement of Global 360’s product leadership in the BPM and Process Intelligence markets. Additionally, he is focused on elevating the company’s vision for the Process Intelligence arena, where Global 360’s Insight360 solution is the clear market leader.

While at Gartner, Mr. Sinur’s research and area of personal experience focused on business modeling, business process management technologies, rules-based systems, using legacy systems in e-business applications and business activity monitoring. Mr. Sinur was active in supporting the application integration and development areas of Gartner. Mr. Sinur was critical in creating the first “Hype Cycle” at Gartner, which has become a hallmark of Gartner analysis along with the Magic Quadrant.

Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Sinur was a director of technologies with American Express, where he worked on a large, industrial-strength, model-driven implementation of a business-critical merchant management system. This system is still active in the merchant retention and support functions for AMEX. His responsibilities there included architecture, advanced development technologies and data/database administration. Before American Express, Mr. Sinur worked for Northwestern Mutual Life, where he was involved in leading-edge projects like the Underwriting Workbench that employed many new and emerging methods and technologies. This was after he was involved with building and rearchitecting many major applications on the investment and annuity side of NML’s business.

Mr. Sinur earned an associate’s degree in business data processing and a bachelor’s degree in management at Cardinal Stritch College. Mr. Sinur has been active in the Rules, Data and Computing Communities, helping shape direction based on practical experience.
