George Van Antwerp leads the Business Process Management (BPM) practice at Talisen Technologies, as Vice President, Business Process Management. This includes business development, strategy, and engagement delivery of process and technology projects focused on automation of processes to reduce cycle time, improve quality, manage compliance, increase customer service, and/or identify opportunities for innovation. Mr. Van Antwerp’s previous experience includes time with Express Scripts, a $16 billion pharmacy benefit management company; Firepond, a customer relationship management (CRM) software company; and Ernst & Young LLP where he was a management consultant. Most recently, George was a Senior Director of Product Management at Express Scripts where he led numerous cross-functional strategic projects and led a product team responsible for $300 million in annual revenue. He was instrumental in their early focus on generic drugs, where he ran a generic sampling program, developed numerous new products, and was frequently quoted in the industry. At Firepond, George led their alliances and business development group for North America which included business relationships and channel sales with software, hardware, and systems integration companies such as IBM, Accenture, CGE&Y, McKinsey, and Epiphany. During his time at E&Y, he worked with several Fortune 500 companies, including Sprint, ConAgra, and BCBS of KC on performance management, organizational change management, and e-business strategy. He was a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of how to manage the organizational change management aspects of data warehousing and led the internal efforts to develop a knowledge management solution for the change management practice. George has an MBA and Master of Architecture degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan where he also participated in an international program in Prague. |
